Celebrating the Mediterranean

In September 2022 the Anna Lindh Foundation launched a call for participation for the #CelebratingTheMediterranean. The idea was to celebrate the Mediterranean trough concerts that took place simultaneously in 25 countries around the world.
 
Our member Voem won the project and presented Belgium. Thanks to VOEM for the organization of this event. Thanks to the groups Wird and Wishah. Thanks to Ras El Hanout Asbl for hosting the event in Brussels!

The foundation wants to offer training courses and wants to call on the expertise of its members for this purpose.
It is looking for members who are able to develop and implement online trainings on the following three themes:
– Emerging intercultural challenges in the Euro-Mediterranean region
– Management of intercultural organizations and projects
– Strategic planning, governance and leadership for civil society organizations

lA new call for projects has been launched by the ALF: ALFinMotion
It is an interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility program for the strengthening of partnerships.
The projects must consist of: 1 host member and maximum 2 hosted members from the complementary Mediterranean shore.
The proposed activity can take place between April and September 2023.
Several formulas are possible:
Mobility in ACTION: 2 days
Mobility in KNOWLEDGE: max 7 days
Partnerships: 10 days
Creativity (residencies): 1 month
The deadline for proposals is January 23, 2023.

Do you want to meet up with and exchange ideas with other Belgian and Euro-Mediterranean associations? Then you are in the right place! Why not become a member of the network! Depending on your availability, you will be invited to participate in activities and projects of the ALF, to share information with members and partners, to get involved in working groups, and to participate in the general assembly, for example. Annual membership is free.

Youth is happy because it as the capacity to see the beauty. Anyone who keeps the capacity to see beauty never grows old
