In the face of rising military spending in Europe and Belgium, many civic and feminist organizations wish to emphasize that true security is built first and foremost through investment in people and essential public services.
While billions of euros are being spent on weapons, there are still enormous needs in healthcare, education, social protection, the ecological transition, and international cooperation. This mobilization calls for a different model of society, based on equality, collective well-being, and lasting peace.
