What if you were forced to leave your country and rebuild your life elsewhere?
The interactive exhibition Beldavia. Your New Home Country immerses you in a fictional future where, in 2029, a dictatorship forces you into exile in Beldavia—an imaginary country whose language, customs, and laws are completely unfamiliar to you.
Through an immersive journey, you will face numerous challenges in order to find a job, access decent housing, and assert your rights. Between absurd situations, administrative hurdles, and unexpected discoveries, the experience offers insight into the realities faced by many migrants.
Co-created with adult literacy learners from the non-profit organization La Rue, this exhibition combines awareness-raising, reflection, and civic participation around issues of migration, reception, and inclusion.
