Originally from Senegal, Ablaye Cissoko is a master of the kora and an exceptional storyteller, whose deep voice conveys the soul and stories of his culture. Alongside him, Cyrille Brotto, an accordionist from southern France, brings a touch of innovation and freshness, exploring the richness of European folk music.
Together, they form a rare duo that skillfully blends Manding tradition and European music, creating a musical dialogue that is both moving and virtuosic.
This duo will be featured at the OdeGand festival in Ghent, organized by DE CENTRALE , a unique event that celebrates the diversity of world music in a magical setting along the canals. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience a musical encounter full of emotion and sharing.
