On 9 October, the Anna Lindh Foundation and the City of Brussels organised a meeting as part of the International Solidarity Fortnight. The event took place under a large tent at the Cité Modèle in Laeken. In the morning, two modules were organised for ALF members active in the youth sector or working in the field of solidarity. The ALF had also invited Brussels youth organizations to take part in the event. The first module, led by the CNAPD, looked at the causes and impact of military interventions. Clowns Without Borders then led a workshop that provided tools for working with children and teenagers in a fun and inclusive way.
In the afternoon, the Ambassadeurs de l’Expression Citoyenne invited participants to a discussion on the situation in Palestine. The Belgo-Palestinian association had set up a photo exhibition on Palestine and an interactive caravan. To round off the day, the Compagnie des Nouveaux Disparus performed Le Songe, a play with migration as its main theme
