A look back at the activities of the Belgian network

activités FAL

26 April > A civic café around migration. Le Songe, a play by Les Nouveaux Disparus, which unites music, circus and theatre in a heartwarming tale of migration and connection, provided the focus for an intimate discussion on migration stories and experiences. Arts Migratoires provided a warm musical note, Ferdedsi provided hot African food and snacks and drinks for the audience, and Label Hope screened short films and presented books and crafts. Members had the opportunity to present their various projects to the public in a convivial and enjoyable afternoon on our premises.

15 May, our association day dedicated to art and intergeneration took place. Our members gathered for a day on our premises at the Josaphatfriche in Brussels to engage in dialogue together on how art and creative activities can bring generations together and what sustainable impact they can have in society. Ellis from U Antwerp explained more about her research projects on art and care and Jerome presented the senior activities of his ceramics studio Malina More. It was a day of inspiring reflection, networking and discussions around an important theme in our society.
